Collection of Information

The Barcelona International Peace Center collects information relevant to the training programmes we provide and the outreach specific to those programmes. If you wish to register for our open courses or tailor-made trainings, then we may ask you to provide personal information such as your full name, e-mail address, date of birth, gender, working address, telephone number or work experience. We may also ask for a billing address which is necessary to send you an invoice.

We may also collect information about your visit to our website. This could include the pages you view or the links you click, along with standard information that your browser sends to every website you visit such as your IP address, browser type and preferred language, access times and referring website addresses.

Our training programmes are often conducted in cooperation with other institutes or freelance trainers, in some cases outside the EU. We may also hire companies to provide services such as payment processing, email confirmation and announcements, website hosting or statistical analysis. These third parties will be permitted to obtain personal information necessary to deliver their services. They are required to maintain the confidentiality of the information and are prohibited from using it for any other purpose. Except as described in this statement, we will not share your personal information with third parties. The Barcelona International Peace Center will never sell, rent or lease your personal information.

We may access and/or disclose your personal information if we believe such action is necessary to comply with the law or to protect and defend the rights or property of the Barcelona International Peace Center.
